I like when flowers bloom, I like to smell the roses
But all we smell are toxic fumes stuffing up our noses
I like my solitude and value privacy
But constantly we’re viewed, cameras watching you and me
I like having the freedom to speak my mind
But the truth online has become so damn hard to find
I like people who treat other people with respect
Not the greedy cheaters we repeatedly elect
Who just treat us with neglect

They got you pointing fingers, breaking your neck looking all around
They only want you looking left and right
Out of sight of the real divide which is up and down
They’ll float on top of you as you drown

Nature is fantastic
But beware every breath you take fills your lungs with microplastic
Now might be a good time to panic
Your health and wealth have declined since you switched to eating all organic
Individual well-being is turning to shit
Just the opposite for corporate pharma, turning record profit
The suits can never get enough, it’s just what they do
They want your property, your revenue, and when they’re through
They’re coming for you

They only want you looking left and right

They want us to in fight
Making sure our eyesight never takes flight from the ground
Watch your back, keep an eye on the left and right
Not the growing height difference between up and down

I sure love the ocean, sticking my toes in the sand
But not needles pricking my skin washing up on the land
Though I like almost everyone individually
There’s nothing more discriminatory than forced diversity
I like education, I like learning things
But schools exist for indoctrination and the earnings they bring
The haves can never have too much, greed is their world view
They want your property, your revenue, and when they’re through
They are gonna come for you

Maybe it’s time to forget about left and right
