It’s A Cold Morning For A Bike Ride
What a way to start your day. You sure made ours, then made your getaway
You took a predator and made him your prey. At first everyone gasped, but then cheered away
We’re sure sick of all the suffering caused by the games insurers play
Without uttering a even single word, you said what we ALL have to say
A hero indeed
I can only imagine what that ride must’ve been like
Heart pounding out your chest even though you’re on an electric bike
The park is cold and silent, you left just 3 words on the pavement
No question about intent, loud and clear your message was sent
A hero indeed
To zero out their greed
A hero we don’t deserve, oh no
But the hero we need
Now that you’ve stole the show and the world’s got one less Greed-E-O
So, tell me, bro, if you know: From here, where do we go?
We all can see the problem, just like we all know who’s to blame
But we just point our fingers, you’re the only one to actually take aim
A hero indeed
To zero out their greed
A hero we don’t deserve, oh no
But the hero we need
You spoke up with your right hand, and said in a language they understand
The greed’s so wildly out of hand that somebody’s gotta make a stand
They’re so selfish they think it’s about their wealth, their stocks and their shares
But it’s always been about our health, so for once you made it about one of theirs
